Cocoa Brown Yourself!!

Cocoa Brown gets the 10/10 for me! This beautiful tanning range spreads evenly over your skin and dries almost immediately. The 1 Hour Tan Mousse has become my favourite beauty product at the moment! Leave this tan developing for 1-3 hours depending on how dark you want it to be. I use the Tough Stuff scrub before I apply the tan and I have to say it's the best scrub that I've ever used! You can't fault the Cocoa Brown products. The smell from the tan is also fabulous and you don't feel conscious about smelling like a burnt biscuit! Marissa Carter has developed a fault free line. I also love the Night & Day Tan Mousse which is dark when you put it on for a night out and when you wash it off the next day you're left with a lighter tan which lasts up to 5 days! I can't recommend these products more! There are many more Cocoa Brown products that I will be blogging about in the coming weeks and I can't wait to try them out! 1. Dream Satin Liquid

Dream Satin Liquid comes in 12 shades. This foundation spreads over your skin to create a perfect airbrushed look. Your skin looks poreless and you feel really confident in yourself! I wear this foundation during the day and also during the night! I mix it with Fit Me Foundation (see below) when I'm going out to create that night time look. This is my favourite foundation and it's ideal for normal skin!

2. Dream Matte Mousse

Dream Matte Mousse comes in 6 creamy shades! It's a cream-whipped foundation that spreads smoothly over your skin. Your skin feels hydrated for hours and it's protected with SPF 15. I love this foundation because it looks so natural but it still gives you the coverage that you want! It's ideal for normal to dry skin! This is my go to foundation for during the day!

3. Fit Me Foundation

I always wear this foundation when I'm going on a night out because it has a dewy look. It's a very hydrating formula and matches your natural tone to give a glowing finish. This foundation comes in 16 shades. I go for a darker shade because I always wear this with fake tan! There's an SPF 18 and it's suitable for normal to dry skin.

4. Super Stay 24HR Makeup 

This foundation spreads easily over your skin for 24 hour wear. This is great for those busy days when you know that you won't have time to fix up your makeup. It withstands humidity, heat and sweat. It comes in 8 shades and it's suitable for all skin types.

5. Fit Me Shine Free Foundation

This is Maybellines first gel stick foundation with an anti-shine core. There's a powder in the anti-shine

core that dissolves excess oil. I wear this foundation to college or just for a natural day time look. It's a lightweight formula and it feels like you aren't even wearing foundation. I would recommend going a shade darker than what you'd normally wear. This foundation comes in 12 shades and it's best for oily skin.

W7 Full Colour Lipstick Range

Finally a break from college work to write a blog post! Recently I discovered W7 cosmetics range and I absolutely love it! The quality of these products is astounding. I couldn't recommend them more! The 'Full Colour lipstick' range comes in 6 shades. It glides onto your lips and the colour immediately pops. It is also long lasting and was still on my lips after I ate. The shades that I recommend are Sand Piper and Angry Annie. I purchased mine for €2.99.

The 5 stages of a girlo breakup (playlist included)

Breakups, we all go through them as we get older. What we don't predict is the emotional roller coaster that's coming for us! Here's the 5 stages of a typical 'girlo breakup'. I've also included a breakup playlist.

                

Stage 1: The emotional wreck.

You're balling crying, you need your best friend. They come over and give you 'the pep talk'. You're fine, until they leave. Here come the tears again!

Stage 2: The stalker.

You go onto his Facebook page every 5 minutes, you know, just incase. You ask yourself all of these questions. "Why hasn't he been online in half an hour? Is he out with another girl?!?! I wonder if he's looking at my Facebook? Why hasn't he text me?!" 

Stage 3: "I don't need no man."

All you can think is that he's a complete idiot! "What did I ever see in him? Wait, what did I ever see in any man? They're all the exact same!'

Stage 4: "Let's get drunk!"

You call all of the girls and demand that you're going out. You're single again, this means you don't have to care about who you get with. Of course, you're going to painfully regret that you went near anyone the next morning. Why? You won't remotely remember the night before.

You're in the club and drinks are flowing (not the tears for once!). But then you see him. "Ah shite, why did I come to this club? I knew he would be here!" Straight to the girls toilets you go and cry to any other drunken mess that will speak to you. Back to stage 1 you go! Keep that playlist on repeat! 

How to fight the frizz!!

I've always had quite dry hair that gets frizzy. My worst nightmare is the rain and wind especially straight after my hairs been washed! I've tried to tame my hair with so many products, finally I found two that never let me down when it comes to fighting frizz!

After I shampoo and condition my hair (post to follow soon about my top shampoos and conditioners) I apply John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength 6 effects + serum to towel dried hair. I blow dry it and use a low heat to finish styling. When my hair is finally styled, I use Mark Hills Defrizz-ilicious Bedazzled Anti-Humidity Shine spray which seals the hair and gives it a great shine. Finally, I give it a quick brush and I'm ready for the day no matter what the weather's like!

Lancome miracle eye products!!

One of the gifts I got in my stocking for Christmas is the Lancome Hypnose Mascara and the Bi-Facial eye makeup remover. I wear eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara every day so it put the remover to the test! I applied it to some cotton wool and placed it over each eye and after only a few wipes the makeup was fully removed. I couldn't recommend this product more! It comes in a 125ml bottle on its own in boots for €28.50 and is well worth it! You only need a small amount each use.

As mine was in a set, I've got to use the mascara and I'm very picky when it comes to mascaras. Usually, I like a thicker brush but I found this gave the same affect as a thicker brush would. I found there was no clumps and my eye lashes didn't end up sticking together. I also didn't have to over apply; two coats and I was all set for the day. You can purchase the mascara here and it is €27.50.

FLEETWOOD MAC TICKETS!!!!!

*** Girl screams *** I GOT MY FLEETWOOD MAC TICKETS!! 

I can't believe that after my numorous attempts at failing to get tickets, out of complete luck I managed to get my hands on two! Not only did I get my hands on two tickets; they're standing!! (More girl screams!!!) 

The thought of perhaps being within reach of Stevie Nicks and her famous twirling is mind blowing! If I manage to be so close to her, I imagine wearing a shawl and asking her to bless it in the name of Stevie. 

Fleetwood Mac are playing three Dublin gigs between June and July 2015. I missed out on tickets in Madison Square Garden in New York and then missed out on tickets for the first two dates in Dublin so when I went online to see if there was any left, I saw that a third date had been added! 

With shaking hands, I couldn't believe it when I found that standing tickets were available! Now to begin shawl hunting and practising my twirls!!
